Admission Procedure

Part 1: Account Creation & Login

Visit the Official Website

Open your web browser (like Google Chrome) and go to the official website link: https://universities.jharkhand.gov.in/

Navigate to Sign Up

On the homepage, locate the registration box on the right side and click on the "Sign Up" button to start creating your account.

Fill the Sign Up Details

Enter the following required details carefully:

Full Name: Enter your name exactly as it appears on academic certificates.
Email ID: Enter a valid and active email address.
User Name: Use only small letters [a-z], numbers [0-9], and underlines [_] (e.g., kumar_1).
Mobile Number: Enter your active 10-digit mobile number.
Password: Create a strong password and re-enter it to verify.
Captcha: Solve the simple math puzzle (e.g., 3 + 3 = 6).

Click on the green "Sign Up" button.

Student Login

Once registered, click on "Already Registered? Please Login Here..." or use the "Login" button on the top right. Enter your Username, Password, solve the math Captcha puzzle (e.g., 9 + 9 = 18), and click the blue "Login" button.

Part 2: Setting Session & Dashboard

Read Initial Dashboard Instructions

Upon your first login, an Instructions box will pop up:

New Users: Set your active session by choosing your Apply Year, Course, and University to unlock the admission form.
Old Users: Select your current Apply Year, University, and Course to track history.

Note: Once a course is applied for and reaches the payment stage, you cannot change the course using the same ID.

Verify Dashboard & Click "Fill Admission Form"

On your personalized Dashboard, verify your active course status on the left (e.g., Under Graduate (UG), Apply-year: 2025, University: RU). Click on the big "Fill Admission Form" button at the center to begin.

Part 3: Filling the Online Application Form

Read General Form Instructions

Before entering data, a red warning box with 13 instructions will appear. Pay close attention to Instruction 3:

Scanned passport/stamp-size photograph must be 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm.
Signature must be 4.5 cm x 2.0 cm using a black ink ball pen.

Click the agreement button at the bottom to accept the terms.

Course Confirmation Pop-up

A Confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm the year and course type. Select your exact course from the drop-down menu and click "Submit".

Section 1 - Personal Information

Carefully fill in your personal details: Full Name (in English and Hindi), Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Blood Group, Marital Status, Religion, ID Card Type, and Identification Mark.

Photo & Signature Guidelines:

File Size: Must be between 10 KB and 100 KB.
Photo Dimensions: 132px (width) x 170px (height) with blue/white background.
Signature Dimensions: 132px (width) x 57px (height).

Click "Save Personal Information" to proceed.

Section 2 - Academic Information

Answer the mandatory question: "Have you registered with any State University in Jharkhand State?" (Select RANCHI UNIVERSITY, RANCHI if applicable). Fill out your entire previous academic background (Marks, Passing Year, Board/University), and click "Save Academic Information".

Section 3 - Applying for Discipline

Select precisely from the dropdown menus:

Select University: RANCHI UNIVERSITY, RANCHI
Select College: YOGODA SATSANGA MAHAVIDYALAYA, RANCHI
Discipline & Stream: Choose your specific Discipline Type and subject Stream.

Section 4 - Payment Section & Final Submission

Review your complete preview.

Make sure there are no errors, as no editing is allowed after final submission.

Choose your preferred online payment mode (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or Offline Challan) to pay the application fee. Download and print the PDF copy of the Common Application Form and payment receipt.
