Empower volunteer youth to become potential leaders and responsible citizens of the country.
To develop leadership and character qualities, mold discipline, and nurture social integration and cohesion through multi-faceted programs conducted in a military environment.
As an institution that stands on the pillars of holistic education and spiritual development, Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya places significant emphasis on community service. Recognizing the importance of nurturing socially responsible citizens, the college actively participates in the National Service Scheme (N.S.S.), aligning with the efforts of numerous government and government-aided institutions. Through its N.S.S. units, the college endeavors to be a catalyst for positive change, organizing a plethora of initiatives that make a tangible impact on society.
Presently, YSM hosts two dedicated N.S.S. units. These units are spearheaded by passionate and committed programme officers with Dr. Mallika Kumari leading Unit I and Dr. Shweta Singh heading Unit II. Under their adept leadership, the N.S.S. volunteers engage in a variety of activities aimed at addressing pressing social and environmental issues in the suburban and rural areas surrounding the college.
The N.S.S. units at our institution organize a wide array of impactful events, each designed to foster awareness and bring about positive change. These initiatives cover a broad spectrum of issues from environmental conservation and health awareness to education and social justice. The volunteers work tirelessly to raise awareness, educate the community, and implement sustainable solutions to local challenges.

Obey God’s hygienic laws. The mental hygiene of keeping the mind pure is superior to physical hygiene, but the latter is important, and should not be neglected. Do not, however, live by such rigid rules that the least deviation from your wonted habits upsets you.
