Feedback
Mechanism at Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya
The
college prioritizes
comprehensive quality improvement by actively seeking feedback from its various
stakeholders. The following is an account of of
the feedback collection processes for each group:
(A)
Students:
At the end of each
semester, students are provided with an online feedback form. The Institutional
Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) reviews and evaluates this feedback. Upon
analysis, relevant insights are forwarded to the respective academic
departments
/bodies for necessary corrective
measures.
(B)
Teachers:
Teacher’s feedback
is collected on three main parameters:
l Syllabus
and IT Support
l Professional
Environment
l Infrastructural
Factors
Feedback related to the
curriculum from teachers is compiled
by the IQAC. This compiled feedback is then presented to the Academic Council
for thorough review. Post this review, the Academic Council disseminates the
feedback to the University. Notably, feedback from teachers is gathered through
both online and offline modes.
(C)
Parents:
Recognizing the diverse
backgrounds of parents, feedback collection is predominantly done offline.
Additionally, the college facilitates department-specific Parent-Teacher
interactions to gather insights, ensuring that their feedback is incorporated
into quality enhancement initiatives.
(D)
Alumni:
Whenever alumni engage
with the college, the IQAC takes proactive steps to gather their feedback,
recognizing the value of their insights based on their experiences
post-graduation.
Furthermore, the college
has plans to expand its feedback collection mechanism to include employers in
the foreseeable future.
